Keeps launching on wrong monitor

It has my main monitor selected in settings, fullscreen, but it keeps launching on my second screen. As well I disable raytracing every time I launch, save it, but if I restart the game it's re-enabled and on the wrong screen. Any suggestions? (my primary monitor is selected correctly in my desktop display settings too, this is the only game this is happening with)

Have you changed the setting for what display to use?

Yeah so it starts with my primary (the desired) monitor showing as the monitor that's selected even though it's on the other monitor. So yesterday I fixed it by switching to the second monitor, and switching back. Now when I do that, it no longer has the primary monitor as an option I can select.

Have you tried unplugging the monitor and plugging it back in

LOL okay, I'm gonna say thank you because THAT seems to have fixed it. I didn't try it because I've restarted my pc, shut down, reinstalled my graphics driver...but I just unplugged my primary monitor and plugged it back in and it launched on it correctly. I don't know how that worked, but thank you.

Switch off the monitor that you don't want the game displaying on at startup, can't go to the wrong monitor if there's only one!

Could also run in windowed mode and then you can alt-tab and drag the game to correct monitor and then switch back to fullscreen, this works for me in other stuff when I have this issue and usually sorts the issue permanently.

Powering off the unwanted display to startup the game sounds easier though and windowed can be a bit of a performance hit.

Could also try uninstalling your gpu, take it back to default display drivers and then, on the required restart, install your preferred drivers.

As ever, YMMV but its worth a try.
