THIS RANKING SYSTEM SUCKS

I'm at general 4 and 4/5 stars and this sh*t where I get 30k+ points 3/4 maxed medals, 650+ score per min, am in the top 5 in the match, played my ass off and we won and then i get -10 merit points can eat my entire ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

It's easy to level up to commander, if you're relatively decent.
I leveled up in advance mode, just rushing kills with the hacker agent so when I die I respawn quickly to keep killing.

I finished the matches with +60 kills and +25 ranking points...

I've had 800+ score/min and still lost points lol. But I've had 5 or 600 score/min and gained. who knows man.

All I know is, the way you gain rank really limits your gameplay options IMO. So i'm happy with general.

I was specifically talking about Attack/Defense mode. swapping to capture the point is easy to get 1k score/min because it's faster and less bs smoke filled choke farms that just slooooooww things down. But the point is that the situation I described should NOT be happening. performing near the top of a winning match having done everything possible shouldn't arbitrarily give you -merit somehow. it's sh*t.

King of the hill is better for leveling your rank. And on General rank dont go below 750 score/min if you dont want to lose your merit. 900+ is best to keep going up to Marshall.
