Vehicles need a HUGE NERF
Everytime the guy with the most kills just camps the tank 24/7 and stays in the last corner of the map. Its not even fun anymore.

Or the eng/recon classes need buffs. It's annoying that we can't lock onto them that far away or they just have to backup a few feet to repair since they are so fast.
nah they are fine your team just needs to do better.

i've done both vehicle whoring and mained support to deal with tanks.

as a support you can skirt the maps and harass them to keep them down at least and if they come closer to the battle area they can be easily destroyed if they aren't paying attention.

as a tank ♥♥♥♥♥ user on days i know this so im more careful with how i use it knowing how easily the tank can be destroyed.
If they just sitting in their spawn, they aren't helping their team. Your team's helicopters should get them eventually.

Would be nice to have some sort of SRAW like weapon or RPG drones though.

They get +100 kills while camping. The only reason we always lose is because we're getting sniped by tanks across the map.

Yeah true. It takes up like to 4-5 rpg shots to kill a tank and usually no one plays eng.

3 to 4 to be realistic. two engies can easily take down a tank.

it's a teamwork issue.
Helicopters are worse.

Infantry rockets only lock on 450m away, same with the Soflam laser. Helis can easily fly 500m up, be completely immune to rockets, and rain down ordinance with relative accuracy.

Even if they do fly low enough to be contested, Locking on is COMPLETELY reset if so much as a leaf comes between you and the heli, Helis will Flare the first rocket that's fired at them, and it takes 2 more rockets to take them down. They also know what direction you're locking onto them from, so they know exactly how to put objects in your path to avoid getting target locked.

It's at least a 3 man job to take down a helicopter. And chances are all you can do is make it run away for 10-15 seconds. 4 man realistically, because you need someone with an ammo box because your Engies are gonna run out of rockets harassing that heli. That's an entire squad dedicated to JUST the removal of a helicopter.

The only reason you EVER see a heli go down is because they flare when someone is locking on instead of when they fire, and they stick around too long when they're given like 3 separate warnings to just back off for 10 seconds or so

i hate this topic, and hate even more when a new thread of the same topic comes up again.
all vehicles are too strong, except the one that spawns the beacon, that one is too weak, 2 bazookas kills it.
But the tiger tank and the helis are infernal to deal with. Almost impossible to kill them.

But as some people said here, they can be annoying but rarely win any games, since they are killing but not capturing objectives.

Kills no longer count towards ticket bleed. All the enemy tank is doing is farming kills while your team and your vehicles should be pushing and putting pressure on objectives.

Unless the tank is ramming into capture points and taking them too.

As it stands, ONLY, and ONLY, and OOONNNLLLYYY the engineers can damage vehicles (with the exception of maybe magnetic bombs) with a threat to kill them. That's 1 class of the 4, just a few of the operators. If you've got a control point being held by medics, recons, and assaults, that tank has absolutely free reign there.

The medic has no grenade that damages vehicles, the recon has no grenade that damages vehicles, and the assault may have a shot of HE 40mm grenade launcher, or MAYBE a magnet bomb.

And good luck asking randoms to change their class to help out

If the enemy vehicles are leeroying onto objectives and you're still losing to them, because none of you want to switch away from your class then that's on you and your team, really.

I guess people really cannot aim with their LAV-AA. If you can, it's trivial using the turret.
Tank is not OP.
The LAV more dangerous in close range, for example you can use active defense close to capture point and use it's skill - bunch of rockets or grenades killing all around in 1 hit.
That's crazy, today at once i did 9000 points in 1 hit from LAV.

not only by tanks, but also by snipers across the map
