Operations "Lose nothing gain little" loadout?
Is there a FREE loadout of like... a pistol and a backpack, something I can indefinitely run with so I can practice this game mode? I hate the idea of taking a full kit of gun, backpack, tac pack, medkits, bullets, etc. and then Jumping into a match, turning a corner, and getting shot to lose it all.

I'd like to at least get a feel for things and build up a small nest, or have something to fall back on to generate money with, like being a Default Scav in Tarkov, or taking the free "Full greys" loadout in Darkest Dungeon

Just bring any gun with a sight and purple bullets. If you get seen first you will die but it also goes the other way around.
knife runs, everything is profit.

You should have gear tickets for gear sets from the events and season pass. After you hit the gear up button when you select a location there's a gear set button above the confirm button. There's recruit, standard, and elite tiers.

I think there is no way to not losing something

The risk reward on this is a little wonky as far as my opinion, but I am more into the other modes at the moment maybe I'll try again later
What salem said. Load in with just a knife. I've done this so many times and have even killed players with looted guns and armour from npcs and then upgraded to purple tier items and escaped. It's quite fun also doing this. Sometimes youll get bad team mates that will abuse you for it. You can turn off squad fill though so you can load in by yourself and just knife an npc from behind if you sneak up on them or just run at them and take a little damage. Play as a medic and self heal that way dont need to bring meds either.
Gear tickets. You can use gear tickets to go with a predefined kit. The most basic tickets you get over time for free and can hold up to 10 so there's no reason not to use them. And if you want to have a better chance of survival, there are stronger gear tickets that you get from quests and events. If you survive, you get to keep the whole kit, and obviously anything you looted.

Its actually not too hard to make money in this mode so you'll soon get over your gear fear. I'm constantly crafting purple armor and blue ammo for fairly cheap, so when I die, it just means I freed up storage space, and need to do a couple of runs to earn back the money for my gear.

Rat knife gaming.
Kill npc, loot.

0 invesment
100% profit
Sounds good, I'll try knife scavenger.

I used to do some dumb stuff like that in battlefield bad company. I'd use a knife only until I killed a man, take HIS kit, and use that to kill the next guy, repeat until dead
