Is there a limit to character turn speed or something?

When I'm trying to do 180s and turn my mouse fast, the game seems to prevent turning too quickly the movement "stutters". I have to move my mouse slower to make sure i turn in a smooth motion.

That normal or do I have a setting to play with?
