The game is unplayable due to fps drops

After the update there is a terrible fps drop in the game.. there is a lot of stuttering.. After yesterday s small update it took 1 day to recover. Today we encounter the same fps drop again. The game is truly unplayable..nvidia graphics card..cpu amd.

Sounds like a PC issue. I have no issues on ultra. 80+ FPS. I'm just stuck getting ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ping lobbies. 60+

i think is some problem with amd i have a rx 7600 and my friend has a 3060 and doesn't have these problems, used to play on ultra 2k now i cant even play on medium 1080 constant frame drops.

Yeah, mainly % of players are AMD users. But there are nvidia/intel players with same problem.

yep +1 same here. AMD 6900XT + 5950X, 32Gb DDR4 4000. Runs at +250fps no problem, then drops to ~30-50 fps for 3-5 seconds, every 10 or so seconds. Extremely irritating.

I also have this issue, lower all settings to low didn't help. What did helped is capping my frames to 100. Running a 3080 10GB and a 7800X3D running the game at 4k with DLSS Performance on all low, I still had issues with consistent stutterings. My frames where reaching 190 but that doesn't mean much if the stuttering was consistent. I capped my frames at 100 and so far it seems pretty stable so far.

I found a solution! (for AMD GPU users at least)

If you roll your GPU drivers back to an earlier version (I went from 24.12.1 > 24.8.1), it completely removes the stuttering. I've tested it on multiple maps/modes, and I didn't get any stutters whatsoever.

I used DDU to uninstall my current drivers, then downloaded the older drivers from the AMD website, installed them, and it works flawlessly.

Might work for Nvidia users as well, but I don't have a way to test it. Thought I'd at least share in case it helps anyone else!

Im using latest drivers and a Radeon 6800XT and 5900x, the fix for me was disabling Smart access memory in AMD's software and i also forced DX 11 in launch options in steam with -dx11

4090 here. FPS capped to 144...sometimes they go down for half a second to 80ish. Very annoying.

i have a 5800x cpu and rx6800xt gpu and still get major FPS drops. Work arounds ive tried is disabling SAM and the USB power thing somebody mentioned in other forums. Cant play this game with these drops. Either the developers are doing something unconventional with the game or drivers are really F***ed. We shouldnt have to roll back drivers for one game to work, so i will put this game on hold till i hear of fixes. Going back to BF i guess.

my configuration Ryzen 7 5800X3D RX6600XT 32 gb ram, at first it only worked when I turn it off sam, now it doesn't work either, I tried everything and the old driver, I tried everything live and it doesn't help, it's up to the game

YEAH I HAVE A 3080 I9 WITH 32GB OF RAM AND I STUTTER.
