can't have apps open on second monitor while playing the game

mainly talking about discord/youtube/twitch. as soon as the game launches from the launcher second monitor flashes and the applications disappears. twitch and youtube i can still hear the audio and discord i can hear call but call cant hear me. anyone know a way to fix this? i've tried opening discord in admin mode but doesn't fix.
