Even after closing the game, the executable file "tbs_browser.exe" related to the game continues to run. Why is this happening?

Happened to me. I exited the game and when i tried to launch it steam said the game was already running. I opened my task manager and saw it using 20% of my CPU. I ended it and i could launch the game again

Same here. I was wondering why my PC is making that noise.

Just a note to try to bring this back into discussion, this is related to the repeated crashing and black screens/lag to the point of causing a system to lock up and have to be restarted manually. Anyone have any new information in how to fix? This occurs randomly but daily with Delta Force and appears to have existed in past games as well, but not able to find any new information regarding a solution, help?

Name Tbs_browser.exe
Type Malware, Trojan
Short Description A dangerous malware which increases the CPU and GPU usage of the compromised computer.
To be honest, I stopped playing this game a few months ago because I found tbs_browser.exe suspicious.
It's unclear whether tbs_browser.exe is still running in the game now, but it was definitely running for several months after the game's initial release.
Its ACE causing these issues. The anti-cheat is polling computer very aggressively. I would BSoD every 15 minutes with a hardware exception, WHEA 18 - Processor. Did A LOT of troubleshooting and everything points to ACE. I was running resource monitor and Windows Performance Recorder and it solved my issue until last night when I got a 24 hr ban, which I believe is due to running WPR. ACE changes behavior when its being monitored. I went from crashing every 15 minutes for a week to playing days in a row without issue. A computer doesn't normally come back from a WHEA 18 unless its on the edge of stability and something like an aggressive kernel level process causes it to flinch.
