I agree they need to do something. I believe ranked and unranked are in the same queue. If they are not they should be. My idea to fix the game would be to put all players regardless of the difficulty settings in the same queues and essentially overhaul how the difficulty works in the game to make it more like a single-player difficulty system. Here's how this would work.
Pick Easy on any map:
- All armor and ammo is brought down to an effective Green level. This means anyone running blue and above is running Green FOR YOU ONLY.
- As a result you can only pickup purple and lower qualty items. You cannot pickup gold or red items on easy mode.
Pick Normal on any map:
- All armor and ammo is brought down to an effective Purple level. This means anyone running gold and above is actually running Purple FOR YOU ONLY.
- Your loot table is normal and you can pickup anything.
Pick Hard on any map:
- No armor and ammo handicaps for you.
- Container you open have a boosted loot table giving you the best chance at higher teir loot more consistantly.
What does this do?
- It brings the entire playerbase together under the same queues which will get everyone into matches sooner.
- It will level the playing field with the difficulty settings so you can play your way and NOT be at a PVP disadvantage
- Provides the ultimate challenge for hard content but is extremely rewarding.
What are the cons of this suggestion? Please let me know!
The game is too young to start adapting to the low players number.
