Greetings everyone, I hope the evening/night finds you well.

I have some question that hopefully someone can help me with.

= Is this currently considered the first season or still just beta play time?

= If you make purchases now will they carry over to the full game release?

= When the game goes full will it still be free or will we need to actually purchase it to continue playing?

= When will the controller feature be available? I have spent the last 15 years playing on controller and am realizing how horrible I am trying to play a FPS with a keyboard and mouse. My cat has a better kill ratio from just randomly running over the keyboard and swatting the mouse.

= Is there a training ground area? Some place I can practice my keyboard skills without hurting or dragging down my team?

I am pretty excited about this game so far since I have sworn off CoD and BF has one last chance with their 2025 release. This game reminds me of the way FPS use to be and I am sure I will enjoy it even more once I have my controller option back.

Thank you for the information, I can definitely use more training to be sure.

Hopefully other people can answer some more of the questions I had. I would like to support the game more but do not want to spend money on items that will be lost with the main release.

1.) i believe this is season 1 yes

2.) NO one is getting reset anymore from what i know, so you are free to buy stuff

3.) Warzone (the battlefield like mode) and Operations (the extraction like mode) will both stay 100% free. when the campaign (Black Hawk) comes out, that will cost money. not sure how much though

4.) they are working on Control support, no ETA as far as i know, but hopefully soon

5.) yup, there is a "firing range" where you can test out your weapon builds. you can't test out equipment as far as i know though, only weapons like primary, secondary, and melee

Hello friend!

There is also a mode where you can play A/d against bots only. You do not get exp but you can practice and get used to the gunplay and TTK- as well as use all the vehicles without having to fight over them.
When you're about to search for a game click the big "game mode" window at the bottom right of your screen. Look all the way to the right and their should be an "A/D drill" option.

I will just say as announce that this is Public Open Beta. Announced Current release is Late January 2025. At which time the game will be fully opened to access all parts of the game.

Thank you very much! I am super excited about this game but am incredibly bad with the keyboard and mouse, looking forward to the controller option!

So I found some YouTube videos that show you how to set up a controller for this game, it will of course take some time to set all the buttons up the way you want though.

Will using a controller via the Steam settings be considered a mod or something illegal? I can not imagine that it would be but I figure it would just be best to check and be safe.

If anyone else is wanting to play with a controller you can and hopefully they add the official controller set up soon.
