Helicopters need massive buffs
Everything is AA. Now that people figured it out helicopters (especially the Apache) can't survive longer than 30 seconds. APFS rounds from tanks will pretty much 1 shot and you are easy AF to land at long range with infinite distance because of how fast they travel and how slow the Apache is.

Regular bullets, the AA tank itself, emplaced AA guns, any other vehicles AA weapons + 20+ players that can just click redeploy, and start spamming AA missiles at you.

Literally nothing you can do unless the enemy team has the combined IQ of 2.

Helicopters ONLY counter is AA currently due to low damage from everything else 3-4 htk, so you can play around them with smart low floor passes or camping them, equally AA can deal with you doing that by using other vehicles or playing area denial.

The current balance is good if you can drive and stay 300-400m above ground when need to, but also hover when ascension (as an example demands it)

If you're getting shot down by tanks on such a regular basis, it's not a problem with balance but how you're using the helicopters.

Not at all. It has to do with APFS shells having extremely fast velocity speeds and virtually zero drop while doing 60-70% of a helicopters HP in 1 hit. I can snipe helicopters very easily.. So unless you're clowning around at over 400m all game. You're dead.

Meters of lock is fine. It goes both ways.

AA guns, and AA tanks however get unlimited range already which is already what you're asking for, so... you already got a major free win advantage over them..

like what do you want? An input so you can press P to instantly destroy every helicopter in the game no matter what? lol.. Heck, unlike BF 3-4 which are herelded as some of the best BFs out there, you can't even dodge AA missiles with exceptional piloting skills.

If there are a lot of AA on the enemy side, just don't get too close. shot from a far. Your real enemy is LAV-AA, it machine gun can give you a hard time the good thing is people rarely know how to use it lol, oh and the enemy's heli with AA.

Stinger needs more range, heli is way overpowered as it can sit right up high and still blast you but as ground troop you can't do anything against it.

bro srsly now balance is good? XD aa have unlimited range 90% of the time enemy aa siting on their resp and ♥♥♥♥ everything what flyin. tanks with apfsds 1 shot heli without problem cuz this round is extremly fast and have almost no dropoff, stationary AA can melt ur hp in 1 sec. oh and 30mm on apache is almost useless cuz lack of splash dmg. oh i almost forgot stinger can kill crew inside cockpit without destroying vehicle and this is dumb.


imho mobile AA should have limited range ( at least this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ 20mm cuz 30mm is well balanced) , 30mm should have bigger splash dmg ( also 20 mm on scout heli) and this will help choppers to engage and this will give oportunity for infantry to use more stingers

How much people you see with stingers? thats the problem



depends how fast i kill AA and im free to farm, if i done it quickly usualy i have 3-5 rockets locked on me + tanks ( if they alive [usualy when i destroy tank, driver take stinger and try to focus me]) + HMG's + stationary AA
Everyone talking about AA... yet when im on my combat chopper my REAL issues are the recon heli with a machine gun literally stuck on you till you die and barely can do anything abouth them withouth gimping your loadout.

The Stinger is certainly 100% useless vs Helis. In my oppinion, Helis can get deleted completly.

AAs have travel time, no, they even have damage drop off. Tanks with apfsds two shot you. stationary aa can only melt you if you stand still or get predictable close to them rather than at a distance.

I just did a 28 kills 0 deaths A/D match. Which was over 20 minutes and from the very start with the helicopter, so no, they don't need any buff, you need to improve. Also ended up 2nd in the match, I didn't play for survival, I played for the match.
