Irregular data activity kick when playing with people internationally

Whenever I play with a friend from India I get kicked for "irregular data activity" which I guess means ACE detected something (would be cool to get an error code but that's another story). We played like 60 hours in s01 perfectly fine and now since s02 dropped we can't play together for more than 10 minutes. If it's because we're in different regions, why wouldn't the game just show a warning instead of letting us play and THEN kicking me?

this game is infested with cheaters once you hit diamond in ranked... good luck to all but i give this game 1.5 months to survive lmao
