78Gb Update wtf?

Updating the new Delta Force patch has been such a nightmare. It's 78GB, which is massive, and my storage is already running low. On top of that, my internet speed isn't the greatest, so downloading this update feels impossible. Honestly, this has me wondering if updates this big are worth it. How do you all deal with massive downloads when you're stuck with slow internet and limited space?

It's UE 4 game. Every time they change a map, the whole map have to be rebuilt.
They added fortification system. This, most probably, required all 'warfare' maps to be rebuilt. They also added areas to operations maps. That's why the download size is so big.
Don't blame devs, it's their tools and ambitions dictate the size of the download.
The game is in active development stage, more changes - bigger downloads.

I already downloaded it yesterday but today it was simply downloaded again...this is BS

So far i have download it once at 90% but need to pause the download. As i restart it , it gets back to 0. I am 78% and wait now ...

edit : And after one game i need to already redownload the game. I hope it is just a situational issue
