I've seen several message related to Arena Breakout with this malware message and the people added the file to their antivirus whitelist. My issue is, i've played lots of other shooters and never ever had a rootkit anticheat give this message before. So how can we or should we truly "trust" it?

I just had this problem and immediately uninstalled. No way I am trusting a game made by Chinese based Tencent with a kernel level anti cheat on my system that's already feeding me malware warnings. Bye bye.

They only have complete access to your computer, no biggie.

If you whitelist it, you're giving them permission to see everything on your computer supposedly while you're only playing the game. This is so they can monitor activity for anticheat. The downside is that the kernel level anticheat can collect everything you do even while not playing the game because its now been whitelisted.

It's your call if you're comfortable with letting them data mine you.

If you take 1 minute of your time to check the AV message in google you will find 200 times this message from other programs.

i cant even get to that point, it crashes while loading, but stays in steam saying its running, same in task manager... what in the actual f8ck are the clowns over there doing, you want us to play your game or not? (also disabled malwarebytes in case new update triggered it, but the game doesnt get close enough to loading on an i9/3070/nvme system that the game ran on earlier tonight.....before the update)

Because if you whitelist it now your antimalware will just ignore all of its activity.

There's no malware, just a Kaspersky false positive.
