It is recommended that you run a System Scan to make sure your system is clean.

its a kernel level anti-cheat, its see everything you're doing when playing the game. If you white list it in your anti-virus it can also see whatever else you're doing too. I am pretty positive CBS did a report on this and how Tencent is actually spying on you for the Chinese govt.

The file that was detected as a possible Trojan is the following file: "ACE-DFS64.dll" which is a plugin for the AntiCheat.

For some reason though me and friends have been able to play without the file there. I'm not gonna recommend removing it though, cause they could ban you for not having the file there.

Same here. I have the game installed on both Desktop and laptop, but the weird part is that the game still works normally on desktop without whitelisting the file, but on the laptop BitDefender locked the file and the game wont finish the update.

You can leave this file blocked in your AV quarantine and no one will cause any problems for you and the game will work normally.

I have to agree, it is super sus that the devs won't speak to this. That said, if they were up to no good, they would not tell us that. It's weird that a few programs call it a trojan (Kasparsky and Webroot for example) but Norton and Windows Defender don't seem to think it is a virus.

After I updated the other day there were no issues. I saw there was an update pending and did so, shutdown my rig for the night. Finally had free time last night but as soon as I started the game BD immediately flagged the AC .dll file an wouldn't allow me to whitelist as it was removing the .dll file.

I uninstalled the game but when I tried to reinstall "Download Paused" followed by "Missing File Privileges" messages preventing download/game install. No solution has resolved this.

It is rather sketchy this AC is being flagged, false positive or not as a Trojan yet developers haven't addressed this at all despite mounting reports.
