it's still a virus, I've reported to steam that the Delta Force update has an embedded virus. Until it's resolved by steam or the devs, i'm not playing this. Too bad really I loved the game.

I bet they update ACE as other games that use it have the same issue.
Like BreakPoint Infinite or Genshi Impact

This happened with Call of Duty BO6 when it first came out

I reported the game because it contains malware.
On the shop page, the flag at the bottom

Yep, already reported

No way am I whitelisting a rootkit, what happens if something that wasn't caught by my antivirus hacks into it? Either its removed, or I'm not playing the game.

Bye!
Have the devs said anything about this with the new update?

If this really is not malware, the developer should have resolved this issue with the majority of major antivirus software developers.

I had Smite 2 give me a virus warning the other day. Which also runs kernel-level Easy Anti-Cheat.
