Resolution problem

Hey there,
I have a big problem with the resolution in my laptop. Basically my resolution is 2560x1600, and I try to play the game in 1920x1200 which is the same ratio than my screen which is 16:10

THE PROBLEM comes when I choose the 1920x1200 resolution and it changes the screen to a lower one, instead of taking the whole screen, it takes just a little part and the rest are black edges so it doesnt pick the whole screen but with a lower resolution, instead the game looks in a little screen full of black edges when I choose a lower resolution,

I dont know if i make myself clear but the answer is how can i change that? how can i choose a lower resolution but still have the whole screen of the game and not just a little part of the screen in the center. I dont know what to do I tried many things and i cannot play all games in 2560x1600 as my graphic card cannot run all games at that resolution so i have to choose a lower one but then that problem appears..

you could also try using Nvidia control panel or whichever GPU you use and force the PC to the resolutuon you want to play in then runt he game in borderless window mode

SOLVED: in case it happen to someone with dedicated GPU (LAPTOP). Go to Nvidia control panel, dont choose optimus and press on your GPU. Then go to screen, resolution and instead of ratio aspect choose fullscreen and solved, you wont have again black borders in your screen
