FPS is very unstable
Since the Alpha, the game has been optimized a lot, i can run it at around 170 FPS on my 6700XT but it's constantly dropping to like 50 while stuttering a lot making it unplayable... Anyone got this issue ? All my drivers are up to date

you don't look 1% and 0.1% low right? download and setup afterburner and riva tuner and you will see.

to anyone who might catch this, i have 5800x3d/6800xt and i had flawless performance during the first playtest on steam with everything on low, likely on the august drivers. upon release i had nigh unplayable stuttering, here is what i did:
- tried -dx11 and -useallavailablecores. this helped but it was still bad (smoke and getting into 1v1 front on gunfights would often cause a halting stutter)
- i tried the disable USB trick in the power plan options. this did nothing for me
- i tried to recompile shaders using both the g key in graphics options AND deleting text in the .ini file. this is supposed to fix it if you've changed to low settings - i couldnt get it to recompile, still cant.
- i uninstalled on steam and used the standalone launcher with the dx11 and use cores launch options (this did recomp the shaders but only to the default graphics settings, which is ultra or something). this was maybe marginally better, but probably not.
- i disabled prefetch in registry. this did nothing noticeable
- reverted back to august drivers. nope
- i turned off SAM on the adrenaline software and restarted. THIS FIXED IT.
whether it was some combo of things or just SAM i dont know, but thats the last thing i did and it had the biggest result. so now i am on the launcher, dx11 and all cores options, december drivers, SAM off, USB thing and prefetch disabled. when the map is being loaded i do still get stutter and on the odd occasion when there is smoke everywhere there is a small dip but absolutely nothing like it was before, its pretty good for 95% of the time.

its not just 1% and 0.1%... it hard drips for 5-10 seconds then jumps back up to full speed, like its errors and struggling to do something in the game loop

I found a solution for me... I don't know why the "free sync" in settings of the screen switch it after Nvidia update. I just switch it off and we back to the game! :)

I stopped playing it went back to battle field :steamfacepalm:
curious but how much ram do all of you having issues with fps drop have?
the games recommendation is 16gb.

i have 32gb ddr5 and a 4070 with a i5 14500 and i have had absolutely zero issues.
I've been playing both the beta and this early access since day 1 and everything was a really good experience, everything was very fluid and with high fps (around 170 with everything on high), but since approximately December 25th everything started to go worse and now I'm at around 130fps with everything set in low and with big fps drops. I've tried a lot of the tips I've read in different places but nothing works, so I guess the devs just have to fix this.

Prominent reason to these problems is AMD. Go cheap and youll have these kind of problems.

In my case I have a 3070TI and I also have a friend with a 4080S that even though it easily has 200fps, it has huge frame drops and is horrible to play. I think the developers simply need to optimize the game a lot.

I came here to report that Adrenaline 25.1.1 completely fixed this problem for me. I can leave SmartAccess Memory turned on and Delta Force runs perfectly smooth in 4k Native. I also came to tell Korva that you are super ignorant and incorrect about this being an "AMD Problem". I know this because I started a "Known Issues" thread about this problem in the Delta Force Discord, and I have spoken to MANY Nvidia users with the exact same problem. Only they have not received a Driver update to fix the problem yet, and AMD has. I have even seen many 4090 users with the same FPS drops and stuttering issue. So maybe get your facts straight or don't make a comment when you clearly don't know what you are talking about.
