But then there are people like me who have an arm injury so I can't move it that well. I can barely use the mouse to aim. I don't need aim assist. I just want to be able to use controller so I can play the game in the first place.
Controller players are what makes games fun. If you run into a match with bot players, chances are those are controller players. What I'm trying to say is if all players where on kbm think about how sweaty ever game would be. I'm sure there would still be bots, but not as many, making what you call fun now, not fun anymore.
Obviously I understand if you have an injury or other issues where you cant use m/k. Accessibility is a great thing for gamers and the more the better for our friends who unfortunately don't have full use of their hands/fingers or other senses etc. Course I am talking about people who cannot play the way most of us are lucky too, not talking about white paint marking climbable areas or games that basically play themselves for lazy gamers lol those things get marked under "Accessibility" sometimes also. So yeah, if a dev can have m/k and controller options available that would be the best way to go unfortunately its not always possible. Anyone without disabilities should def use m/k for FPS's games on the PC if they don't want to be at a huge disadvantage. @SgtBrightmoon, hope your injury heals soon or if its unfortunately a permanent thing hopefully more Dev's add accessibility options to more games in the future so everyone can play.
You are playing on a computer.
Signed,
Everyone.
And has the controversial poster above says you want the benefit of aimbot.
Valve did a study and got mediocre CS players on M+KB vs pros on controllers and the mediocre guys wrecked the pros. This is on an extreme skill based game like CS where map knowledge, where to smoke and flash are key to winning as well as placement, movement, aim and recoil control.
I'm all for controller support if aimbot is not a feature. If it is then I ain't playing this game.
Last time I played full MnKB was when I was on the original Age of Empires back in the late 90s, otherwise I have been console strictly for 25+ years, until about 3 years ago. I bought a PC to play old PC games from my childhood and also so I can have high FPS and a 45” ultra wide which console cannot do. I’ve been on controller too long to care about switching, plus I play casually most the time now adays.
Based devs dont want to destroy their playerbase by adding aim bot for controller players.
Well they are adding it, so you might as well unsubscribe from this forum since you won’t be playing it right? I’ll bet you’ll be playing it.
Back to CoD, peasant.
Im still waiting for someone to explain how its fair for a controller player to not use aim assist, who can only move their thumbs half an inch in either direction to play against a MnKB. You have an ASTRONOMICALLY huge advantage at that point. Its obvious the ones complaining are just trash players, because actual good MnKB players wouldn't cry like this.
