7900xtx - 7800x3d low fps?
only 30 fps on 1440p, ultimate graphic preset and 200% render scale, how and why?

sure i could simply still go with 1440p and ultimate graphic preset and then fsr 2 enabled but i'm just wondering why my setup can't handle 200% render scale.

troll?

you are trying to render in 5120x2880 (thats 200% render scale from 1440p) and wonder why it runs at 30fps?
theres a reason why FSR is enabled in this game by default...

200% renderscale ...good Lord...
Bring that down to 100% ASAP..

if you are playing in 720p then i can understand the 200%, but at 1440p or 4K.. then dont go over 100%.. unless you want to play in 8K or 16K...

lol you act like as if this isn't a usual preference you make when you set up the graphic settings...

a game is garbage because it performs well? lol ok

This post perfectly summarize the level of "intelligence" the haters of Delta have lol, I swear you can't make this up. OP is not even trolling.

because different games have very different requierements on the hardware?

1st try should always be default settings, see whats going on and then trying around to optimize the quality and performance for personal needs.

(instantly) going to 200% render scale and then whining about performance in forum either shows a huge gap in knowledge when it comes to hardware and games or is just a really strange way of flexing the specs.

fun fact: required computing power increases with the square of the resolution. (double image width and height = four times the number of pixels)

some games have rather low requirements and thus can be played in very high resolutions, others don't or scale badly.

someone obviously didn't read my question and start instantly with offending.

you need psychological help?

Well you're actively denying the help that LITERALLY this entire thread is giving you which is to DROP YOUR RENDER SCALE. So the only person in this thread that needs psychological help would be you.

Asking for help, being given the help, and actively denying the help...

if that offended you i apologize for that, but it should be obvious that computing power is not infinite.
honestly, a 7900XTX should run this game very well in native 1440p, and thats fine.
Warzone is known for having a rather high framerates*, also is CS - looked on your profile.
I couldn't see what else you were playing there, but based on the behavior described here, one have to assume that so far it's only been more competitive shooters that run at high fps.
Be that as it may, with such powerful hardware one can actually expect that you will have looked into the matter a little and looked at some tests and benchmarks.
This gives you a good impression that not every game runs at several hundred fps and that it is anything but common to play games with 200% render scaling if you don't have a 1080p monitor.

*although i doubt 400fps in 2880p @max, not even a 4090 reaches that avg fps in native 1440p on max settings without any help from DLSS, FSR or FG.

That's what makes the community angry with posts like this, they are actually obvious problems or vastly exaggerated statements.

As mentioned, the game and your hardware behave completely as expected.
Just change the settings accordingly and enjoy the game.

you must have very little knowledge of the tech you are using

nah there is an issue with the game.... Im running a 7900xtx with a 5950x, the closed beta I was stable 180FPS at 3440x1440p now its mostly 180FPS but tanks to sub 50 every now and then, but it can do it when im looking at a wall, can see it struggling to render the wall getting all janky then its clears up back to normal 180 FPS.

His 7900xtx and 7800x3d should be smashing this game
