insanely bad stuttering

anytime i go into an area with more than like 5 people the game starts stuttering to unplayable levels

I had constant dips from 144 down to ~70 fps then back up to 144. Someone on reddit said to delete the "saved" (settings, binds etc. will reset) folder inside the DeltaForce folder and let it reinstall shaders when starting the game again. This worked for me and it's been smooth ever since. 7800X3D + 7900XTX. No need to mess with driver rollback or AMD SAM in my case. Hope this works for you or whoever else might read this.

Edit: I might also mention that I verified files after deleting the folder, but don't know if this is needed.

I will try this now and report back.

i had to disable amd super resolution in the delta graphic settings. Its the last setting bottom.

EDIT: After a longer while it started again to stutter.

24.8.1 drivers for AMD are working and the latest drivers are bugged, its the only difference on my system from the alpha to now and it made a difference

Most people don't want to play with dlss or super resolution on a fps game. The generated frames are a negative for me. I would rather deal with a lower fps. I will only use dlss or fsr for solo or coop games.

I heard disabling SAM should help, will test it asap i found out how to disable it.

Nvidia Reflex causes stuttering when using ray tracing with Ultimate reflections. I turned off Nvidia Reflex and the stuttering stopped.

If you use an AMD card. downgrade to 24.8.1
fixed the problem for me (have 6750xt)
play a few rounds afterwards you should see it improve a lot

same i have 6800xt and 5900x game stutters for a few seconds so bad that you cant even aim anything then works fine
