Rename Username

I got assigned a random username without telling me anything and now to change it i need a "rename card" or whatever that is which i don't possess of course.
Really scummy practice to get money from people if there's no other way to do it

It literally shows you the screen to change your name pretty much firsth thing as you enter the game


Don't blame the game on your choice of not reading what's in front of you

it doesn't, first thing the game shows you is an intro which if you press skip decides you don't have a right to change your username. don't spread misinformation

I haven't gotten any prompt to change username and got throw into the main menu

you probably did get the chance when the player name was displayed and you had to click ok or confirm, cannot recall exactly what button it was but it was clear the name was a random generated one that i did not want.

It brought up a prompt the first time I launched the game that contained a random name and I just changed it to my name and submitted it. So you likely just submitted it with the random name accidentally. Bummer.

I never got the prompt either, and it also says I don't have a rename card, which may be a thing in the future. I did not skip the intro video.

to everyone needing to still change their username: enter game-> open social tab-> click on YOUR icon in the "MY SQUAD" section. not the banner or your name. the icon.-> on the profile tab in the bottom left corner where you see your username and banner there is a pencil icon at the end of your user name. click it. you can change your name once every 7 days. there is a countdown there. you're welcome-> enjoy the game without a bot name

This is the way. I just tried it and I had one "Free name change the first time" token.

My name was changed last night to u455607 at random. I never got a message saying my name was in violation of any rules or did I get a warning about names at the start of playing this game back in Alpha. I changed it back to what it was, so we'll see if it happens again

Well if your name is "divide my cheeks" then they will do a force change on you and if you change it back and if you see nothing wrong with that you deserve a ban and or make your name something that inappropriate they will ban you just giving you a warning. Next time use your head and name yourself something appropriate.

Ye its not violating any rules. Ive covered this with EULA standards, nothing about my name is in violation. Dont try to act smart just because my names like this,

Yes it does, learn to control your ADHD and not spam keys as the game loads and you wont have this issue

Youre braindead. it shows the featured store items, or the events tab, then just says press "skip" to skip it. theres nothing else on the screen stfu
