Sounds perfectly fine when the intro cinematic plays but after that it sounds horrible.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Hmmm. Nope. Sounds like an isolated issue. How are you running your sound? INternal Audio card? Integrated? external audio card? Are you on speakers or headphone? How many bits and hz you have your audio stream set at?

Found the issue the mic input when it's set to my ear buds was causing the distortion

Thanks man. Solved my issue. Windows lets the game use the micprophone, but if you have a wireless headset with a microphone incorporated, it dampens the sound. Just dont allow the windows to use the mic while you play the game.
