It's just that for some reason the Developers couldn't make it so that it does this when you uninstall the game, that's all.
Also, ignore the fact that it says the Anti-Cheat is still running and you can't delete it, even tho you don't even have the game installed anymore. That's expected, duh...
But yea, now seriously this guide is going to be useful for many people. Thanks for that!
The problem is that very often, traces such as entries in the services list remain, and this guide is to thoroughly remove those traces.
There is no risk, but this is not a guide to avoid the anticheat in any way. If you follow the guide, even with the game still installed, the game will simply check if the anticheat is active and reinstall it at startup.
But this guide is intended for people who might check the game out for 10 minutes and decide it's not for them and then want to make sure there's no leftovers.
From what I understand the developers have recently fixed the problem with the anti-cheat not being removed when the game is. I have nothing on my PC after uninstalling as best as I can tell from following the instructions 12FingaAlien laid out.
You just do not know what kernel level anticheat means do you?
