Stuck at launcher running.

I'm stuck at the launcher, it's just keep saying "RUNNING" But nothing happened even if I wait for a long time. I have launched Steam as and Administrator but still no luck. I have also updated by NVIDIA driver and patched by Windows.
Anyone knows why?

I have the same issue. The game refuses to launch even though I coulld play the Alpha fine.

I also validated the game install using Steam and it is correctly installed.

As I read though more blog, I am alluding the problem is with NVIDIA card as it is not supported? What video card do you have?

Hmmm.... interesting NVIDIA just release a new driver a few minutes ago. I am going to try it And let yall know.

I am using NVIDIA patch version 566.36 - Release Thu Dec 5, 2024.

Let me reboot my machine. I have not yet rebooted my machine after installing video card driver.

having the same issues, verified the install, uninstalled and reinstalled and still wont open but shows running. I can get it to open by going through my program files but then it shows an error and it closes out.

I thought "maybe it's something related to game settings", so I tried to delete the "saved" folder - of course make a backup before proceeding. It's located here:

steamapps\common\Delta Force\Game\DeltaForce\Saved

Then the game launched, It worked 3 times (not in a row - each time I had to delete again and close multiple time the exe). About that, keep in mind that every time the game doesn't start, you have to close deltaforce.exe from task manager, even if is not "running" on steam.

However, it is not a convenient solution (it worked 3 times not in a row) because every time the game starts you have to recompile the shaders and everything else.

I'm having the same issue, I've reinstalled on steam twice and once with their launcher, I did a sfc /scannow, cleared steam cache, tried running without windows defender on and the issue still persists. I've got a 32:9 monitor so wondered if that is maybe an issue? I have a 4070Ti. I'll try Shin's delete save folder.
