Audio levels from different sources inaccurate

Whats with the footsteps, vehicles, gun shots, most sources are inaccurate from what you see or feel, muffled sound within a certain range. etc.

where it gets to the point of being annoying .

Several instances where you can hear a tank from 10 meters away, it muffles beyond the range, gets worse when you are on a different altitude from the tank or there are several tanks and a helicopter (unlike other games which is crystal clear in terms of audio levels and distances).

Same with footsteps, some have muffled or light footsteps, mute footsteps (including teammates).

the battle chatter you hear when on the spawn screen is awful too, why did they add that

I have a similar Problem,
every sound other than my own sound or other peoples voice lines is so quiet that the game is basically unplayable.
I noticed this the most if I'm in the 2nd seat of a Tank, i can hear the machine gun just fine but the Tanks main gun is barely hearable.

Still to this day the issue it is very evident.

Audio design it is crap.

I got this bug last night. Restarted the whole computer, and it got solved.

It is not a bug. Any gameplay video proves the point, it has the same crappy audio design.
