You are the smartest. So why is there a difference between a ban of 3 days, 5 days, 10 days, a month, a year, or a decade? Why not just ban them all for life?
That depends on the type of software used, if it's a streaming software like they stated it's probably just a minor offense that will result in 24-240 hour ban, anything else that can be used in a more severe way will get you banned longer, simple as that.
But yeah, i already knew not to run any software i really don't need while playing a game, i've been using computers for over 28 years so i know at least something about it.
If the game or servers perform poorly for some people you'll believe it
but if some people get falsely banned thats completely impossible and should never even be considered because the AC is the only perfect part of any game.
From my experience, 95% if not more of those complaining they were "wrongfully" banned, were using cheats from the start.
Did you take a look at how many players got banned during the beta for actually cheating ?
Those exact same people kept making posts they were wrongfully banned so the Delta Force team actually made a list of what EXACT programs they had been using like wallhack, aimbot etc.
Not to mention, during my 28 years of actual PC gaming i still haven't been banned from a single game, let alone kicked for any suspicious activities.
So the conclusion is: People getting banned in most (not all) cases have programs they shouldn't be running in the first place.
But i do admit i have seen players wrongfully banned but it rarely happens since it's usually the anti-cheat that triggers and it can do a false-positive depending on the programs running in the background but at the same time it's also the user's fault for having programs that doesn't need to be running while playing a game.
Update: I only played one game yesterday and got up blocked today. What is certain is that there must be software on my computer that has been misjudged.
