As for the Campaign it will probably be a thing but expect a ton of inaccuracies like not showing US Army Rangers and Delta Force because that would be treason in China.
If you actually want a Black Hawk Down game, you should check out Six Days in Fallujah. It's not for the casual Battlefield crowd because the game requires communication between teammates. But there has recently been an update to replace teammates with AI.

you have no idea what your even talking about. This delta force maker has been around for YEARS and most og gamers from back then know them for making a bad ass black hawk down game.
"Delta Force is back! The iconic series returns as the definitive free-to-play modern team-based tactical shooter and featuring three distinct gameplay modes: large-scale PvP warfare, intense extraction shooter action, and a remake of the legendary Black Hawk Down campaign."
The original "gamers" have moved on with life, majority of them at the very least because they would be over 40 years of age if they played the original game as a teen. We're talking about a game that came out in 1998, just so you completely understand how old the first game since came out.

You just copied and paste a description from the store. I'm surprised you did not use ChatGPT like most GenZ students do nowadays. What you just copied and paste is called marketing. And again, showing heroism from US Army Rangers and Delta Force would be considered treason in China.
If you really think these developers would go through additional work to implement and research the Battle of Mogadishu, you're very mistaken. These are Asian devs, they're here for money.
Edit: Just to be clear, Team Jade and Timi Studio Group who are the developers of this new Delta Force have nothing to do with Novalogic.
What?
Delta Force was original developed by Novalogic, a developer located in Calabasas in United States. THQ bought the studio in 2016 with the Delta Force franchise. They haven't released any Delta Force games since 2009, after Delta Force: Xtreme 2 got released. Well, they had Delta Force Angel Falls in development, but got cancelled many years ago.
THQ started to disband studio's and franchises after a reorganization and sold the Delta Force franchise to Tencent games last year. Now Team Jade (TiMi studios) is working on Delta Force, which are located in Shenzhen in China.
This development team doesn't have anything to do with older games. So, no idea where you got that information from?
So please, before saying "you have no idea what your even talking about", do some research yourself.
Pricing and release yet tba.
However it utilizes the original movie license and will be set and advanced in the dark and gritty tone BHD and its movie license is known for.
Black Hawk Down movie: Production companies consists of Columbia Pictures, Revolution Studios and distributed by Sony Pictures Releasing. All three of these companies which have no affiliation towards Team Jade nor Timi Studio Group.
So with that said... where did these Chinese companies get the "original movie license" from? There's not a single news/information of these companies acquiring the movie's license.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TiMi_Studio_Group
It was stated in several Dev-Blogs, Gamescom Interviews and general PR rolls and interviews that the campaign is based on the original movies and its license.
Beside that the Dev Team had several gaming and drawing board session with the original novalogic devs and was in touch with some of them.
DF YT has several fun and informative Dev-Blogs about it :)
It's good that this game is competing against a greedy company like EA/DICE but it has no right to claim the Delta Force license. It's clever of Tencent to make a completely new team like Team Jade and have no traces of Tencent history. But we all have the right to know.
From what I've seen on their dev blogs, there wasn't any interviews with former Novalogic developers. Like I said before, Team Jade is from Shenzhen, China. If they actually funded a few Western men to fly over to China to give them tips on how to make a game, that would shame these Chinese developers.
Interesting. If I ask the AI this is what it says:
"In August 2023, THQ Nordic sold the rights to the Delta Force franchise to Tencent Games."
If I go to Wikipedia this what it says: "In August 2023, it was revealed that THQ Nordic had sold off the rights to the Delta Force franchise to Tencent Games."
So needless to say unless you have some other information proving otherwise apparently you're incorrect and Tencent does own the Delta Force intellectual property.
