Another free to play - why????
Hate free to play games they are right rubbish. Why do devs do these?

Straight up wrong, there are games running without any issues, look at WT or Destiny 2

Very valid, and you are coping.

because the biggest games in the world are almost all f2p. Counter strike, warzone, apex, fortnite, etc

easier to build a playerbase that way. They will only be selling cosmetics so I see it as a win/win.
exactly plus free to play is the way to go if you plan to do micro transactions(which should only be for free to play games as thats where it all started)
ill never understand people who are against decent to good free games,
i understand everyone who hates battle royal and lol

Nobody is forcing anyone at gunpoint to play the game,or buy cosmetic items inside.

If the game will be anti consumer, will struggle to stay alive, and like many of the f2p games out there, will focus huge chunk of development in adding cosmetic items for the whales rather than add content to the game itself. F2P games relies only a very small fraction of the playerbase to be profitable, and we must hope the game will focus on content rather to appease them

and they had unlimited gambling too right? You're not dumb enough to think people just want to pay when they don't have to, problem exactly is "free to play" is the highest price that can be set and people see through it. 99% of free to play games are grindy pay to win exploitative utter trash.
F2P is not going to affect DF at all, not P2W, no trashy skins. Buy battlepass if you want, I won't be.

Isn't DF selling in-game currency with which you can buy, for example, armor which low tier bullets can not penetrate?

Also, there are not many fair f2p games. Apart from fortnite and apex (i never played CS), most of f2p games, including warzone, are just straight up p2w games.

And that's why publishers love f2p. It gets massive playerbase which is then manipulated into spending money to remain competitive. It it hapened that publishers earn more money in the end. Again kudos to fortnite and apex (warframe too i think), for only selling cosmetics and not slipping into predatory ways.
no. thats Arena breakout you are thinking of. DF made a whole live stream explaining the monitization. They are only doing cosmetics

maybe its free to play right now and if you want the further DLC maps and weapons they will charge for it. which is fair
Here’s the translation:

Hello, I am a domestic player. Let me give you a rough idea of the payment situation. My English is not very good, so I’m using AI translation to communicate with you. First, there is the Battle Pass. Once activated, you will get a 3x3 safe. There are also some weapon skins from the Battle Pass, as well as bullet case level packages. The best reward is the full-level skin and the gold armor package from the Battle Pass!

Next, there are some skins that require payment. The skins are in bundles, but can also be bought separately, and the prices are fairly reasonable. Knife skins are quite expensive. To be more precise, it’s about buying knives, as each type of knife is different.

Lastly, you don’t have to spend money to buy skins in the game. There is a Mandel brick inside, and the skins you get from it can be put on the market for trade. You can exchange them for in-game currency to buy store skins. The keys for opening the Mandel bricks can be bought or earned during events by exchanging Harvard coins!
so they can rinse players for money for crappy skins and guns keep up lol
Publisher is claiming that there will be no p2w elements but it seems that publishers have also succeeded in brainwashing players into "p2w is not really p2w" (beats me) so there is that. I mean if you put a bow around a turd it's still a turd, I though people learn that by the age of 4. We'll know very soon.

how is it so hard to just look these things up
you're thinking of arena breakout infinite, which is a similar game that has p2w microtransactions
delta force is working on a cosmetics system, just like fortnite and apex, though hopefully not as nasty as apex
