Kernel Anti-Cheat system?

F2P game without a decent anti-cheat (AKA kernel level) would be unplayable. Just look at CounterStrike, VAC is 100% useless

problem with kernal anti cheat is , if theres a security issue , they can use that so basically do what they want on your pc without you even knowing .

i did however see on the discord that the gpu was used in other areas while the game was running ... not sure if thats true , its pure speculation .. but ill have to look into it

Then also uninstall all drivers from your PC as they are also under the same vulnerability ;)

If they used any other anti cheat I would play it but I don't want any part of ACE. If someone back doors them and they boot kill your drives they just de list the game and disappear without any legal recourse. All other anti cheat software based in the US or EU can face legal actions and there is always some kind of way to get compensation.

Since there is also no such thing as private companies in mainland china the CCP basically has a front door to do whatever they want with your network/hardware. So if conflict breaks out over a certain island nation sometime in the next two years which is what is expected they will 1000% leverage that door.
