new developers and UE5 are made for 4k gaming and they actually DOWNSCALE the game to a really terrible 1080p resolution...
and you gotta use that sharpness filter on top of a horrible downscale. expect a lot of games like that
call of duty
wu kong, etc...
4k gaming is the new 1080p and the only way i think is to increase your monitor and etc...
i play on an 1080p tv and i gotta stay away from it so its not that blurry.
older games are fine tho'.
this is the dumbest thing i've read
Its very clear that you dont have the slightest idea as to what you are even talking about.
The problem is TAA antialising which introduced blurryness. Others have been able to disable this in the config file. I noticed this blurryness after recent update.
Call of duty i.e. is super blurry in 1080p because of an "in engine downscale".
If you put it 4k, even on 1080p monitors, it stays much better just like old CoD games.
But I didnt see much a difference in this update.
Put MSAA via NVIDIA APP to 8x.
It got better for me
Trust me, and I'm not trying to be rude here but wherever you read that gave you totally false information.
I read about it 1 time and I realized some of the games look super bad in 1080p without sharpening filters. That explanation made sense to me.
I don't know why but older games seem to look better. Maybe because the geometry of the models is smaller or the MipMaps are made for longer distances but well... It could be a lot of things.
I'm probably making 1 video about it one day.
Not now though. xD.
