Yay Another One
This is now, what? The 10th ARMA-lite(not the company) tacticool shooter? FOTM for a week or two and forgotten with the next Warzone or Tarkov update. How many of them are actually more than an Early Access skeleton? How many of them are actually done?

Ground Branch
Gray Zone
Ready Or Not
Six Days in Fallujah
Zero Hour
Arena Breakout
Tactical Squad
Incursion
Lost Light
Marauders
Bodycam

And i'm sure there are a lot i'm forgetting or don't know about. I'd trade that whole list for a single one that is actually done, finished and good.

This game is going to be free, what's your issue exactly. Should game developers quit trying and force us all into playing the same three or four popular titles?

Yeah, games are basically dying because of all of this. There are so many BS choices and most of them are trash and it splits the populace. Which is why, everyone is stating all the time now, that there is nothing good out.

Because, there isn't. I just want to check this game out but I am pretty sure it is another Milquetoast F2P experience.

And, the funny part is, the keys are getting botted and resold. WTF is paying for a key for this game? Really?

We want quality, not quantity. That's it. That pretty much solves the issue at hand, which is 31 flavors of choice but they all pretty much taste like nothing. That is the world we live in, the illusion of choices but what do you do when all the choices are horrid?

That they are all trying to make the same game with a different coat of paint and not a single one of them manages to release a polished and finished product instead we're getting a dozen flash in the pan live service games. Even DayZ, the one that more or less kicked it all off, is far from done and still seeing major overhauls after almost 12 years. I'm simply sick and tired of this trend of releasing barely working(early access) games that will never be feature complete.

Don't buy them or play them, problem solved....none even seem to be in your game library.

Every game you mentioned has some value and fun to them, all of them are making the next company and even the big ones change their formula.

I watched DayZ mod go from one of the best games into the trash that is DayZ SA. All the org players of DayZ mod wanted was BIS to fix zombies and stop cheaters (but the Arma games are not meant for open networks as their bread and butter - the base engine - is VBS a miltary sim that is meant at most to be played on WANs, not internet). They stole the IP from Rocket, and siphoned hundreds of millions of dollars to secure their NATO contract which was in turmoil around that time. They were broke and DayZ mod and hyping up DayZ SA saved their whole company and all the players got was the BS that is DayZ SA. I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hate BIS. They are the epitome of scammy ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

I miss DayZ mod so much... it was the last actual good game. RUST, maybe, but honestly FP took the piss too with the recoil change. We have to face it, gaming is on the brink of a collapse like in the late 70s, early 80s. There is so much trash out right now, that many people will just not play anymore.

And, it will take a decade for it to come back to where it was 15 years ago or so.

By the way as a side note, to BIS... if Rocket didn't take their ♥♥♥♥♥♥ deal they would have blocked DayZ mod from being run on ARMA 2 so he had to take the deal because BIS is a "my way or the highway" type of corp.

They literally sue modders for creating better DayZ Mods for Arma 3 and stopped the servers from being live.

So, we could have had a better dayz mod already but BIS are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Not for a lack of appeal tho. I like tactical shooters. Raven Shield all the way but none of the games on the market has the complete package. I would have to play, as far as i know, well over a dozen games to know which one is actually any good and, as soon as i find that game(if it exists) the devs push out an update that ruins the whole game or something new comes along that might be better, which i won't know until i played that or one of the other games comes out with an update that fixes something and now it's actually good. Maybe that happens in a couple weeks, maybe in a year.

That, in a nutshell, is my problem with live service games and games in general that see massive updates years after release.

it's 2024 and theres still people who look at battlefield and go "is this arma/a milsim?"

"Ground Branch
Gray Zone
Ready Or Not
Six Days in Fallujah
Zero Hour
Arena Breakout
Tactical Squad
Incursion
Lost Light
Marauders
Bodycam"
