Any way to configure the game while servers are under maintenance?

I got my alpha access days ago, however I have not been able to open the game ever since. Whenever I open the game I always get the message 'servers are under maintenance' and the game closes itself.

I understand when servers are down it should not be possible to play. I just want to be able to reach the game menu to configure the usual settings (graphics, key bindings,...) beforehand. Is there any way i can reach the menu?
