as for the bhd part maybe but no details been announced yet that goes for crossplay theres no details on that either which is why im assuming there is crossplay,
so idk how youd mod a game that using a matchmaking system?
i understand if the games online function used a traditional server browser(which would make the game alot easier to hop in and out of when ever and would make sense to have a mod tool for pc)
you do gotta think how a mod tool would work on consoles and phones/tablets would we need a pc to install the tool and then select the platform to publlish the map? how would a mod tool work on consoles and mobile?
thats a reason why many games use matchmaking now instead of the traditional server browser, because its not fair for consoles to be left out of custom content.
Yeah, agreed. From the very beginning with Delta Force 1 the modding is what really kept the series going for so long. According to wikipedia the PvP uses UE4 and the single player campaign uses UE5 so that might be kind of awkward providing two different SDK's.
