MODDING
Back in the day I used to be a mapper primarily for DF2. Fast forward to this game I'm wondering if there will be modding support like there was before? I know it uses UE5 and I've taught myself that engine and surprisingly a lot of the assets from all the games easily import into UE5. For example in UE5 I've made an exact replica of the very first single player level of Delta Force 1 which is Peru Insurrection.

There are no details yet available regarding modding. It may be an option for the BHD part, but as said no details yet.

some Eiffel tower and black ops like maps would be pretty fun

If they added a "level editor" either at release point or down the line would be nice.

It would be great to create levels for such a game, and it would distinguish the game from its competitors for the better

theres not going to be mod support as the game might be crossplay with consoles and mobile im assuming, if not this game is doa on pc,
as for the bhd part maybe but no details been announced yet that goes for crossplay theres no details on that either which is why im assuming there is crossplay,
so idk how youd mod a game that using a matchmaking system?
i understand if the games online function used a traditional server browser(which would make the game alot easier to hop in and out of when ever and would make sense to have a mod tool for pc)

you do gotta think how a mod tool would work on consoles and phones/tablets would we need a pc to install the tool and then select the platform to publlish the map? how would a mod tool work on consoles and mobile?
thats a reason why many games use matchmaking now instead of the traditional server browser, because its not fair for consoles to be left out of custom content.

if they added level editor or modding that would be amazing! games are kept alive by communities .. be nice if we could add custom modes, maps, animations and enemies...

Yeah, agreed. From the very beginning with Delta Force 1 the modding is what really kept the series going for so long. According to wikipedia the PvP uses UE4 and the single player campaign uses UE5 so that might be kind of awkward providing two different SDK's.
If there's a mode with custom made maps like the old Delta Force games it would be a great addition. The level editor of Delta Force 2 was quite easy to use.
