There was a game, back in the day that had legal wallhacks as part of it's features, it was called blacklight retribution. I loved that game (before they sold the rights, and the new owners messed it up...).
The way the wallhack was implemented was simple but smart: you had a helmet with a battery that would allowy you to turn the wallhack vision on for a brief period of time, then the battery needed to recharge.
And here the smart part: it took some time to turn it on and off (you had an animation that couldn't be skipped) and while in the wallhack mode *you could NOT shoot*.
So you had to use it sparingly and tactically. If there were enemies near you, turning it on was a death sentance, since you couldn't shoot back if attacked.
Here you just send a scanning arrow and get back to your weapon right away. There are really no downsides to using it. Not to mention the passive that Luna has.
All of that is on top of spotting, which is already pretty strong (if more people bothered to use it).
All I'm saying is that it is possible to do it right, if your going to do it at all.
