How does the mascleta planner works?

there is a mascleta planner in the tools but how does this work? im only be able to place poles, let me know :)

OK someone on discord told me how to do it so for the people that do not know ether this is how it works.

1. Place poles with (left click).
2. Put rope between the poles with (E).
3. Then spawn fireworks on the rope by looking at it.
4. Put fuse between fireworks.
- enjoy.

Did this according to the tutorial with cakes on rope, fused them together and once they were lighted up, they fell off the rope to the ground and fired their content towards the sky.
