weird symbol on profile select screen

I couldn't find anything online about this, but on my switch version on 2 of my games (shovel knight and king knight) there is a light blue hat/pumpkin looking symbol in the bottom left corner of the profile. I haven't played the game for a while so completely forgot what I did, does anyone know what I am talking about?

I vaguely remember that in ds and switch that symbol showed up in save states with cheat codes, but I might be wrong

thank you that does ring a bell, I like to try games with cheats / extras after trying the regular run first cause I find it interesting the changes that come with it. (also I assume you mean 3ds but shovel knight on ds is such a funny concept to me XD)

Nah it's definitely for cheats. Cheater, cheater, pumpkin eater. (Not saying cheating is bad, in fact, it's how I do my challenge runs, just putting that there for the reasoning)
