I was thinking about getting this game but I am a bit worried now.

I was gonna get this game for the steam summer sale (I know its discounted right now but I wanted to save up some money for it.) but I saw a few articles saying the game is sluggish and slow, input lag stuff like that. Since I don't have the greatest pc, was wondering if this would be a problem? Sorry if this is a stupid question.

Nonsense. Anyone claiming input lag is either playing with lousy monitors, or playing well below the recommended requirements which is something you have put in effort to do with a game like Shovel Knight that can run on most machines today. You should be able to run Shovel Knight just fine,

Shovel Knight should be able to run perfectly fine on even somewhat older PCs. I originally played the game on a PC that I got in 2014. The game ran amazingly well even back then and I've never once experienced input lag in the game.

The gameplay isn't sluggish or slow at all, either. You've just got to be careful in a lot of sections as the while not one of the most difficult video games ever, the game nonetheless doesn't pull punches on difficulty.

Hey, I got the game recently and have been enjoying, I just started playing SoT when I noticed there is a slight stutter when you scroll through levels. Is this normal or is my pc being weird? I've tried many things like the multiple v sync options and lowering res, idk what it is.

This game should run on very old computers. You don't even need a graphics card either. Just a basic integrated cpu will work. Probably would run fine on even a 3rd generation cpu from looking at the specs requiring only an intel hd 2000/3000 graphics. Heck I can even run earlier versions of minecraft like 1.13 or below on a 3rd generation processor.

yeah sorry, forgot to type that I fixed it, I was using v sync legacy and I found v sync on works better and fixed it.

Shovel Knight can be launched even on a calculator. There's nothing to worry.
