Custom knight on PC?

Will this ever become a thing? I understand it wouldnt make sense to release it as free DLC, because one, it would piss off all the people who got the shovel knight amiibo, and two, yatch club games would be missing out on potential sales, ie, why bother buying the amiibo to play custom knight on the wii when you could just play it for free on PC.
But, I'm sure I'm not the only person who would be willing to shell out like 10-15 bucks for some DLC on steam of the custom knight. Logically it should cost less, because the amiibo is an actual physical thing and some of its price must just be determined by how much it costs to manufacture, but just getting the custom knight as DLC wouldnt really cost yatch club games much I assume, because like its already been fully made, they just have to port it.
Obviously also co-op would be amazing, but i feel like that's less likely to come to pc.
