Where would King of Cards be in the Timeline?
like in specter of torment, when specter knight is about to recruit king knight into the order, king knight already "rules" over pridemoor keep which he didnt cover in gold yet, but in king of cards, king knight is first seen on the throne of the "pre-gold covered" pridemoor keep after he already joined the order at the end of his story which would then mean that specter knight wouldnt have had to fight and recruit him at pridemoor keep since he should have already been a part of the order at that time

While you can't reconcile them entirely, I think King of Cards comes first, followed by Spectre of torment, then plague/shovel which are concurrent (and not really compatible canon-wise either, though I think the official version is that plague knight exaggerated his importance in the story, so plague knight gathered essence and made the ultimate potion but probably lost against shovel knight and didn't fight the enchantress)

just replayed king knights level to confirm it...honestly, props to the devs for thinking of something like this and not leaving any open holes within the timeline

i may have an idea to make it so both endings could happen in the same timeline, but it needs a lot of bending to make it somewhat fit

lets say after the fight against the whole order, shovel knight had to go through another part of the tower of fate which would take him more time to get to the location where the final level (tower of fate ???) takes place and lets say plague knight knew a shorter way to the exact same location since he was one of the order, bending it like this would make it possible that plague knight could have thought the enchantress, the plague of shadows (his shadow clone) and the corrupted essence before shovel knight was even close to the final area, and since plague knight only took the essence of the enchantress, she would still be around to fight shovel knight later

Could it be, that Shovel knight fought her, the same time Plague fought his boss? Plague knight blows the entire tower up with his bomb and the tower falls apart after shovel beats her.

that would be pretty unlikely since both landed on a lower level of the tower for their final boss, it would be more likely that plague knight fought first and after his victory, he and mona looked for a place where the ultimate potion would cause the most destructive result, and while they were looking for that place, shovel knight had his battle with the enchantress and the remnant of fate, and that the tower is then starting to collapse because plague and mona set the explosion of the ultimate potion of

That's what happens, yes.

I was thinking about this and at first I thought that KoC had retconned SoT placing their fight at the Lich Yard, even more considering that you find the rest of the Order of No Quarter as free-roaming, implying Specter Knight didn't recruit them yet at that point. However the "The Hunt Continues" (or something like that) quote at the ending indicates that he did recruit several of them by the end (the backdrop of the landscape shows several of their landmarks "completed" as in SoT). I'm gonna play King Knight's stage in SoT again to confirm this (also I love that game so it is not a bother) , but I'm glad to see that there doesn't seem to be continuity issues.
