Treasure Trove is the standard Shovel Knight
And it is the only way to play Plague Knights campaign
Again: this here, "Treasure Trove", is standard regular Shovel Knight.
If you mean "Shovel Of Hope", that does not include Plague Knight's campaign
The original question is already answered
My post is a reply to another user giving wrong information, as you can see by me quoting what I am replying to
Treasure Trove is the standard version, which includes everything. I never said "just".
The extra campaigns and modes aren't extra DLCs. They were added to the standard game, which was just called "Shovel Knight", as free updates.
After some updates in 2017 they changed the name from "Shovel Knight" to "Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove".
They later also released smaller Shovel Knight games, which each just include one campaign or the battle mode from Treasure Trove.
However, by "full package" in my original question I meant every SK related content released so far, including what you describe as the smaller SK campaigns.
So those campaigns are NOT in included Treasure Cove per your comments, correct?
Yes
They also increased the price when the later updates came.
Treasure Trove includes all campaigns.
To quote myself:
"each just include one campaign or the battle mode from Treasure Trove."
emphasis on "from Treasure Trove"
Those 4 other Shovel Knight games are just options for those people who don't want to buy or rebuy the whole package.
I am not aware of a precedent for something like that ever happening in gaming, so I have nothing to compare it to.
