Is there a way to download the Linux version of this game on a Windows machine?

I wanna get the game to run on one of those handheld emulators, and I need the Linux build of SK to do it, but I don't wanna buy the game again.

Well I bought the game. I don't think I'm trying to do anything illicit here. I don't need the help of the Steam forums to download an illegal version :P

Do you have the Steam Windows version and feel left out of the fun? Just follow these below steps to download the Linux version!

*Press Win+R and open "steam://open/console" (Steam will now show console command)

*Enter "download_depot 250760 250764" (It will eventually show download location)

You will end up with having: 32 (folder), 64 (folder), data (folder)

Just because it is Linux does not mean it will run on your Linux handheld.
This game is written to run on x86 machines.

I was a hair away from bying the game on GoG because the Linux Version is also available there.

But Retro Games Corps also wrote an excellent tutorial on how to get the linux version here:
