Sorry, how can I do my shovel drop when I am attacked from ABOVE? I asked specifically how to avoid these attacks...
Optionally, parry him on his descent, but be ready to repeat it.
At the moment I start playing with HP cheat, just to learn some mechanincs. But I wonder how to battle this properly.
Yeah, you could say "just watch Youtube dude", but for me that is not an option - almost everyone humilating bosses in 5 seconds maximum, so they almost never has problems DODGING something. I want to understand how can I manage this with my playstyle - boss battles taking me 5-7 minutes at least.
I completed The Messenger platformer without any cheats, so I don't thing I too dumb for this genre (completed dozen other platformers too). Usually games with great design allows you to slow-play.
If one strategy doesnt work, you swap it for another. Over time, muscle-memory will kick in, and you'll be beating the bosses with hardly any difficulty.
