I've completed all 3 currently released campaigns (+ all challenges and achievements) on keyboard and had no issues with the inputs.
Let's see if other people share this notion.
I mean, you can use and rebind analog movement on a controller. But all the functions are digital. Everything can be played with the same number of buttons as a NES controller [though I recommend a third face button and two shoulder ones].
You'll be fine with just a keyboard.
Fighters and platformers work like a dream thought.
I've played game with controller and keyboard.
After 50 hours of gameplay I think keyboard has an advantage over controller.

With keyboard you can do moves which are much harder with controler, especially if you want to do some advanced stuff.
