how can I tell which places I'm missing sheet music from?

I have 40/41 in plague knights campaign but the map just tells me how many sheets I did get, it doesn't seem to show ones I'm missing

If you press the attack button on the map it shows you how many collectibles you're missing from whatever stage you're standing on.

that is not what I was seeing but maybe I didn't look closely enough I dunno

The stages don't say if they have music sheets remaining. All they say is the running total and how many to return. They all say this for me:

RETURNED: 40/41
TO RETURN: 0

Nothing about music sheets remaining for that stage. Do I really have to go through the whole game again to find it?

Also, I started a new game to confirm that the stage doesn't say how many music sheets you're missing from it.

They should say. They show sprites of each music sheet and the ones you haven't picked up are just a white outline. The sprites are even in the order you're supposed to find them in the level.

oops, I misinterpreted what was being said. Thanks guys. It's when you press the attack button on the stage select map, not in a stage 0:)
