While we monitor the community here as best we can, email is still the best way to reach us and get a quick response. The more information we have about your environment and system, the faster we can pinpoint and ultimately solve the problem!

On Windows, the best way to get us this information is with the DxDiag utility. To run the utility press WindowsKey+r, type dxdiag, and hit enter. Once open, click "Save All Information". Either attach the generated text file to the email, or copy and paste the contents into the email itself.

Sorry, but text changes for Body Swap is only supported when playing in English.

Not really a bug, but rather some translation issues with German in Showdown. I never had any problems with the other games, but Showdown has some issues.
e.g. the feat for Tinker Knight (win by throwing an opponent into a pit with the definitely intentional trip) is missing the detail about the trip in the german translation.
I had to giggle when I finished Showdown today and got a draw. Both "Unentschieden" (same results) and "Ziehe eine Karte!" (Draw a card) is "Draw" in english. When having a draw in any Showdown match, it says "Zieh!" instead of "Unentschieden." Maybe you didn't give Mr. Klischewski enough context with this one, as "Draw a card" happens in King Knight. ;)
As I said, nothing too critical, but still worth to be mentioned.

But yeah, there's a bug there where you can end in a winning situation but still receive the fail message and have to re-try.
Do you have a screenshot of the board where you placed the card for the win condition? Would be helpful to see how the board is set up to see how we should take a look at it.

Glad it worked! We actually finally discovered the source of this as there were two bugs hiding out but causing the same symptom. Should finally be fixed in the next patch.

Guessing the game was confused about whether I was in a cutscene or not and so should have control, but I was in the wrong spot to play the animation of King knight jumping into the seat to play.
We discovered the source of the problem and this will be resolved in the next patch. It was an interesting one, for sure! Sorry for the trouble!

Sorry for the confusion! These puzzles need to have two conditions met:
1) You have to have the most Gems
2) You cannot make more the one move

In the screenshot you provided, you meet condition 1 but not condition 2. Both must be met to win. That was the intended goal for these puzzles (plus teaching you how new card types worked). If there's an inconsistency with how this operates. feel free to let us know about it!

On the Windows 10 version i keep getting random slow downs. The game will run slowly for random intervals in all modes, and then goes back to normal speed. This has never happened pre-King of Cards. Also, tweaking visual settings doesn't seem to fix this, it seems to happen regardless of my settings.

I know this is gonna be a generic kinda message but I have to be sure:

* make sure your video/audio drivers are up-to-date
* make sure the game is running on your integrated graphics card and not your dedicated one (i.e.: running on your intel HD 4000 vs NVIDIA GEFORCE)
* Disable vsync on your graphics cards

Not a bug in the game but something strange on steam. I have unlocked the achievement 'Creep' for Plague Knight which required to watch all of Mona's dance. That shows correctly in the game and the game page on steam in English. However, changing the language of steam interface may cause a wrong name and description of that achievement. It turns to 'Bomb Economy' which I haven't done, but the icon is still for 'Creep'. I have tested simplified Chinese, traditional Chinese, Japanese, Korean and it all have that problem. That may misguide me when I want to turn back and unlock some achievements I missed before. Steam is running on Windows10 64- bit system. Thanks for reading and I know you have improved the localization of King of Card which I mentioned in one of the discussion. Great job!

Thanks for pointing these out! I also fixed a few in other languages that were also reversed. Please don't hesitate to report these in the future if you find any more - it's a fairly simple fix :)

I keep getting this error every time that I try to boot the game up now:

if(!(!assertIfNoFile)): ycFileReader::ReadAll(ERROR) Could not open file "fonts/kanji_12_full.fnt"

What is that all about?

Try uninstalling and reinstalling. Looks like you're missing a language pack.

I was playing king knight during the axolotl stage and every time I hit the axolotls the game crashes, the game crash card says "yc Assert! c:?\yc\sk-trunk-code\engine\src\ycSceneFormat.h: 337 if(!(index < GetSize())): press yes to copy this error to your clipboard" and if you press yes or no both result in the game closing

the visual before the game crashes has the axolotls head falling off screen, I just wanna play more of the game and since the level is mandatory I gotta wait until its fixed!

oh and my system is a surface book laptop running with windows 10 the game was working just fine until yesterday !

Sorry to hear you're encountering troubles.
I'm not able to duplicate your issue, however. You're saying it would crash upon hitting the first Axolongl that you start on right at the start of the stage? Can you try the following:

1) Go to Steam Library, right click Shovel Knight and select properties. Go to Local Files and select "Verify Integrity of Game Files...". Then try the stage opening again.

2) If that doesn't work, I have also restored the previous March build under the new branch "previous".

- Go to Library
- Right Click Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove and select Properties
- Go to the Betas tab.
- Select "previous" from the drop down box.

i started new games using the "NGAMEPD" cheat. shovel of hope works perfectly everything unlocked from the get go. specter as well. plague and the king games are bugged. it shows me i have 100% everything unlocked on the loading screen and some games screens. however i cannot change armors, or choose advanced weapons. its like if the game sees me on 25% completion even that everything is unlocked. maybe the cheat is bugged for plague and king gameplay? as well i only get 4 hearts on the king even that i am supposed to get them all
