Turns out you're right
Yeah it's just this Female Shovel Knight barely looks different from Regular Shovel Knight
The ONLY difference I can tell is that female Shovel Knight is wearing a skirt
They couldn't have given her breasts or something? I mean I'm glad we don't go from a fully armor clad knight to a chainmail bikini, but COME ON
On the Body Swap menu, keep scrolling down and you'll see every character you can swap the genders of. You can always access the Body Swap menu from the pause menu, even during a stage.
She also has smaller horns on her helmet, and is slightly shorter. Compared to characters like Queen Knight and Treasure Knight she has very little changed. Honestly most of the characters didn't get that many changes in Body Swap mode but Shovel Knight is the worst offender, even more so since you play as Shovel Knight the entire game.
Indeed Shoves just feels... so damn lazy, if only the game had mod support to fix this
