They aren't even trollish, To be fair people demanded a bigger sale which is a insult to the work and game in it's own way, so they decided to play a bit of a joke with a 34% sale, and that also conviently made the price go below 10 dollars so people can buy it with 10 dollar cards for christmas.
EDIT: I guess it's wrong for Developers to have a sense of humor now?
I have no idea why the hell OP is so triggered about it, Also saying "overpriced" is, again, an insult to the game, specially when it's as big and lovingly crafted as Shovel Knight, With 2 years of development put in and with 2 MORE FREE DLC EXPANSIONS COMING THIS YEAR, I think that is most certainly unfair to call it overpriced.
Hahahahaha.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
That's not exclusive to PC gaming, I remember buying games like Titanfall and Saints Row 4 for around $5 each during sales on the Xbox store. The only difference is that it does happen more often here.
But not non-existent, which is what truly matters in the end. Either way, console users will get spoiled on discounts and even the free games that are given out to PS Plus/XBL Gold subscribers (I remember games like Sleeping Dogs being given free to Gold subscribers in the past).
True, and also you just proved my point that PC and console users can be equally spoiled in regards to deals and giveaways. But as I have seen over the years some people are always gonna be like that, even as adults. Better to just ignore them like the rest of us have, I've seen people try to reason or fight with them and they end up going crazy over it.
Edit: Now that you mention it, I did remember when people thought the Borderlands 2 collection was going to be the free game for XBL Gold some months back, and it turned out to just be a free weekend. Calling their reactions rage would have been an understatement.
