Shovel Knight won't Launch (windows 10)

So I just bought Shovel Knight after I've kept an eye on it for months and now I can't make it launch. I've tried a few things already, none of them worked. I've sent an e-mail to [e-mail] aswell and am still waiting for an answer, so I thought I could ask you guys for some help here aswell.

A few things I've tried already are listed below. Thanks in advance for the feedback.

Check updates on Windows
Check graphic card driver updates
Reinstall Geforce Experience and update it again
Unistall the game a few times and reinstall it a few times (both on SSD and HDD)
Launch Steam as Admnistrator
Launch game in windowed mode
Run CCleaner (because, why not?)
Close CCleaner.

same issue, as soon as it starts, it closes.
Just tried to run it from the loacl files, and got the following error

"The code execution cannot proceed because MSVCR100.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem."

This is a fresh purchase, and a fresh install

My problem was solved, thanks to the great support YachtClub Games provided me. I'll paste here the solution they found for my problem, hope it helps you aswell friend :)

"1) In your Steam Library right click on Shovel Knight and go to "Properties"
2) Select the "Local Files" tab
3) Select "Browse Local Files..."
4) Unzip this into the Shovel Knight directory: http://yachtclubgames.com/shane/fix-redist/sk-dlls.zip
(so D3DCompiler_43, dinput8, msvcr100, and XInput1_4 are in the same folder as the ShovelKnight.exe)
5) Run the game!"

Enjoy some Shovel Knight!

That did it! you mah hero sir I was lookin at old forums for fixes, but those files did it for meh, thank you!

Thanks my friend! Also My Axiom Verge was doing the same thing, so I did the same for that with the exact files from Shovel Knight and it started working again as well.

Here are the common runtimes that should be installed:
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35 - DirectX components
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170 - Visual C++ runtimes - mentioned runtime is Visual C++ 2010 x86. You need the x86 version even if you have a 64-bit PC since the game is 32-bit.

After trying to open the game after not having played for a year+ to see nothing launch, this did the trick! Thank you!
