Hellbound is the prequel to the main game. It says so on steam store description, and also on the youtube trailer description.

Thanks for reply, I certainly didn't read the description of the page, my fault.
However, is it known if there will be any connection between the Hellbound characters and their next game? It would be great to have 'Clara' on the team :)

Regarding the story, we will have to wait for version 1.0 to be released to know the entire story of this great prequel.

Based on the official website, the Hellhounders are the antagonists of the main game. Under the Enemies section, it mention Sariel, Axeman, Dr. Eugene, and Saltykova specifically. No mention of Vito or Clara though.

Wow... Thanks for the information, it looks really interesting.
On the other hand, it is normal that they don't mention Vito, at least for the moment I don't see that he contributes much to the group apart from presence and Sariel treats him as a coward... he doesn't appreciate him too much xD

If they use the Hellbound saved game, the protagonists of Penny Blood are going to have a difficult time considering how they improve and increase their power (Axeman and Clara are real meat grinders) :D

I hope 'Clara' also appears in the game!!! Plus this character is intriguing, not even she knows who she is.
We will see what information is revealed in future patches.

I'm not usually attracted to 'Quick time event' games, but without a doubt Penny Blood will be an instant buy.

Reading through all the updates, it seems that Vito will be a playable character in the main game. There will probably be dialogues when Vito meets up with is former comrades when going through the main game.

There are also side stories for Penny Blood as well.
